Natasha...I think it is normal to have times where creativity and the energy to create...come and go. I write poetry and do fabric art.. My homemaking blog is more of a way to bless others...but on my fabric art blog I show what I'm creating. I have been teaching myself Persian rug weaving...and once I started it and set it aside..it just seems to sit there and kind of wait... I know that when it is time, I will pick it up again...just like my Colorado Rockies applique.

Sometimes, it's better to rest between creative spurts. Maybe it isn't that way for everyone, but I seem to churn out three songs, and a banner...and then run out of ummph for a while..and then start up again.

I like what Lacy said too...sometimes if you look too hard you wonder, " why did I ever think I could 'create' art?"...then later you realize wow...that really is beautiful!

You do beautiful work...I love it!

Natasha!

Thank you so much for the comment on my story and giveaway. I did the artists way too! Remember not to be so hard on yourself it's definitely a journey. I went through where you are too, beating myself up over not doing the morning pages and then I'd just get back in there and do them again. It was worth it! Once I finally got to go back and read them all I was like HEY this isn't total crap! I am rooting for you!

" I know that within my family what that means to one will not mean the same thing to another" well spoken and so very true...what lies within those words is the beauty of each individual...as Natasha wishes for herself and her family so I greatly wish for them with much love...brightest blessings~
